SEXUALITY, NUDITY, PORNOGRAPHY AND MORALITY

NEW DELHI.

What is the reason of financial crisis? All linked to morality. When moral values deteriorate, all deteriorates.

The western countries have become so much obsessed of wealth-financial ownership or material possessions that greed leads to various problems.

The greed for wealth by an individual leads to the social inconsistencies like the nudity, pornography and so on for more money and wealth and material pleasure which is considered to be the evils of all.

The Chinese prime minister during his visit to the UK also raised the issue of morality. Though China has a bad human rights records, his statement about "morality" seems to be the pin pointing of the current problem.

Look, how the banks and financial institution were being bankrupt and melted? The Northern Rock collapsed but just a few days before the declaration of administration, the senior executives of the bank took large sum of money as bonus.

There were reports of millions party of the bank. Was it moral? Dancing at the cost of investors- most of them are small income earners, who had deposited their investment in the hope of their future.

So are other big banks and financial institutions. They were so lust on bonuses, profits and sales without being transparent. Like a wild horse without any control.

Wen rightly mentioned the morality issue. The bonus of the executives was one of the issue of concern and that is creating trouble.

If the bank had mentioned the trouble in time and had become transparent and accountable and if there was monitoring and supervision such crisis could have been prevented in time.

Now millions of people have lost their jobs. Thousands of companies have collapsed. Many are being closed or in the process of closing.

Now the time has come to think seriously. The issue of morality needs to bring forward in every sector.

Whatever the reason is now is the time to think seriously to bring the destructed institution to the tracks. The greed for money, sexuality, pornography and nudity all deteriorate the moral value.

This time of "live and let live." Like the saying of Mahatma Gandhi, who freed India from the colonial power of Britain during those difficult time without any resource and that is also through the principle of moral based " non violence."

That should also inspired all including Muslims of the Middle East or every where. The Chinese Prime Minister Wen clearly said in an interview that needs to be taken seriously.

Though Communist, a follower of defunct and outdated system, his following words seem to be based on reality of the present day world:

The Scotsman quoted Wen as saying: "If you are familiar with the classical works of Adam Smith, you will know there are two famous works of his. One is The Wealth of Nations; the other is the book on the morality and ethics.

"The Wealth of Nations deals more with the invisible hand that are the market forces. And the other book deals with social equity and justice." The second part is completely missing in the present day world.

"The equality and justice." It was like the Communist system where "some are more equal than others."

Wen said: "If most of the wealth in a country is concentrated in the hands of the few, then this country can hardly witness harmony and stability. "The same approach applies to the current US economy."

The Chinese society like other society of the east gives highest priority to morality and now the time has come to the western countries to give priority to moral values. "All are equal not some are more than others."
