Lebanon - the free playground for international politics
Again it has happened. Other countries sticking their noses into things that are not theirs to solve. This time it is Syria who believes they as the very good samarites they are should "help out" in the upcoming Lebanese presidential election. (Note the sarcasm.) Poor Lebanon is again being the brick of big international politics as the conflict over Lebanon is part of the wider struggle for regional influence between the United States and Syria's ally Iran.
As usual there is a lot of "yada yada ya" being spoken about the reasons and Lebanon is shouting very loudly even though no-one listens. Probably some pressure from the US as usual. Pathetic.
Leave my country alone!
