BART OFFICER ARRESTED
DOUGLAS COUNTY, NV--A homicide warrant, out of Oakland, CA, was issued for the arrest of a Bart Officer, who was picked up in Nevada.
Johannes Mehserle, 27, was picked up in Douglas County, NV, for shooting a Mr. Oscar Grant at a Bart Station on New Years. The arrest was a surprised to the Oakland community leaders. Another protest rally is schedule for Wednesday the 14th of January: as of this time 11:15 Tuesday night the protest rally is still on.
After Oscar Grant's funeral, last Wednesday, anarchist ran wild in Oakland, CA, setting fires, turning cars over, and attacking TV camera man. The organizers of tomorrow' protest are asking to keep it peaceful.
