All American wars are to take control of oil and gas reserves. America has the best research institutes and if the amount wasted in killing people can can just be provided to these institutes America can solve all its future energy crisis for good!

Kudos to Stanford for taking such initiatives to a greater level. I do agree with you, maidiya, however, you have to know that there are individuals and groups out there in the States who are doing something for the greater good. We must not be hasty in generalising.
