Casio Founder and CEO Kazuo Kashio has demonstrated a variety of new technologies incorporated in its upcoming line of digital cameras.
Casio is bringing out new composite moving image technology to allow photographers to play around with a variety of motion elements. Kashio demonstrated the power of the technology by capturing two different images, one of a woman moving forward and the other of a blank background. Using software, Kashio was able to superimpose the image of the moving woman neatly on to the new background.
Casio is also banking on bringing high speed capture technology to compact consumer cameras. It will offer a 30 fps burst mode and a special slow motion mode. This should allow users to more precisely isolate what they wish to photograph and generate blur-free images by stiching together several different ones.
