Hugo Chávez in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Jan/26/2003.

The government of President Hugo Chavez ordered the expulsion of Israel's ambassador, Shlomo Cohen, and some embassy personnel to protest against the country's attack on Gaza Strip and in solidarity with the Palestinian people, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( MRE).

According to Israel Radio and in response to the Venezuela’s Foreign Ministry, the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem said that Israel will continue to protect itself from its enemies.

Hugo Chavez has also firmly condemned Israel, called on Israelis to stand up against their government.

This happens after 40 Palestinians were killed at a UN school where civilians had taken shelter.

Bravo Chavez. Bravo! At least someone has the guts to say NO to brutality by Israel. While the Europeans and Americans ponder and procrastinate, thousands will continue to die from Israeli brutality in Palestine.

Bravo Venezuela!

That is awesome! Chavez is so radical at times, and I love it, especially in this case! Other countries should follow suit, in similar ways.
