    majdy, this one is quite complicated. intestinal mucosa is attached to our intestines meaning it is attached to the lower part of the alimentary canal from the end of the stomach to the anus...dont' know whether I mixed up the whole thing. Anyways it is an important finding. Would be better if you may kindly explain the term,'intestinal mucosa' for much better understanding at least for me. Arif

    Yes Arif, why not. As per my knowledge,most simply put intestinal mucosa means inner lining of the intestine. You must have heard that there are some bacteria in our body that are good while most others are harmful to our health. Intestinal mucosa that is the inner lining of the intestines also contains microbes some of which are good for human body while others it immune us against. Hope you understood a little bit but you are always welcome to ask again.
