Holding On
The Philippine’s 4 very own wonders of nature are holding on as top candidates for the selection of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Live ranking indicates Puerto Princesa Subterranean River is at the top spot. The Tubbataha Reef at #3, Chocolate Hills located in Bohol at #5 and Mayon Volcano in Albay at #11. Voting will resume on 7th January 2009. On July 2009, the committee will announce the shortlist of top 21 candidates and will go to the next stage of voting. The official New 7 Wonders of Nature will be announced on 2011.
