LTTE Leader Velupilli Prabhakaran

As srilankan security forces is on a restless war with LTTE (tamil rebels) from last month . The security forces secures control on the tamil rebel center kilinochchi. Kilinochichi was considered as the power-house of LTTE. Army commander Lt. General Sarath fonseka commented on this attack. The forces entered through the north, west and south of kilinochchi. it has been confirmed that over 50 dead bodies of tamil rebels have been found at the battle ground. Sri Lankan army was expected to get a setback in kilinochchi.

The year began with the Sri Lankan Government abrogating the 2002 ceasefire and launching an all-out offensive against the LTTE in its strongholds of northern region inflicting heavy damages on the rebels.India sent a high-level delegation to Colombo in June to underscore its concern in the rehabilitation of displaced Tamils in parts of northern Lanka which were liberated from the clutches of the LTTE.

Security Forces engaged in the Vanni liberation operations speed up their advance towards the next stage.Task Force troops completely captured and consolidated their positions in strategically important Paranthan junction two days before.

The only option now available for the LTTE is to flee towards the jungle patches in Puthukuduiruppu and Vishvamadu in the East of Iranamadu tank but will be once again cornered in this jungle terrain as 59 Division troops are advancing towards Puthukuduiruppu from the West of Mullaitivu after their consolidated their positions in the Mulliyawali village.

Several agitations may arise in neighbouring country India(mainly in state of tamil nadu, which is considered tobe the tamil state in India). DMK the political party ruling tamilnadu, which also supports the government in the center may again threaten the central govt: to take strict measures in international level. a wide protest arose in tamil nadu when the srilankan army intensified the action 2 months ago.

The situation will get worst in coming days and only the UN can stop this tamil people being slaughterd in srilanka. As LTTE leaders have flew-ed to safer places . Srilankan army can also expect a deadly encounter in coming days.
