5 killed, 51 injured in Guwahati bomb blasts

Everyone should condemn the blasts in Assam India which are alleged to have been carried out by United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA). But now India says it is Bangladesh providing shelter to all terror groups including ULFA and that Bangladesh is a safe heaven for terrorists.

India's Hindu rulers should realize that the root of the problems are related to the fact that a great many non-Hindus, Dalits, Christians and Muslims in India and Kashmir are very underprivileged and don’t have a share of the sort of Indian development growth and all of that Hindus enjoy. So there is a lot of residual resentment among the over 200 million non-Hindu religious and ethnic minorities in India.”

It is time for India to stop the blame game and work with its oppressed relegious and ethnic minorities and its neighbors Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Nepal, Kashmir and Pakistan to get rid of terrorism and implement all UN resolutions.

Assam's Director General of Police GM Srivastava said initial investigations showed that the blasts were carried out by ULFA. All the three blasts were suspected to have been carried out by using improvised explosive device (IED).

Assam's Director General of Police G. M. Srivastava told reporters that he suspects the United Liberation Front of Asom -- a separatist group that has waged a 20-year rebellion demanding more autonomy from the central government -- was behind the attacks.

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi admitted there have been security lapses and added that the police force in the state needs to be strengthened. We had prior information. Bangladesh is providing shelter to all terror groups including ULFA. Bangladesh is a safe heaven for terrorists.

The Home Minister and External Affairs Minister have assured us that India will take up the issue with Bangladesh and they would put diplomatic pressure on Bangladesh," said Gogoi.
