LAHORE: Akhtar Abdur Rehman Cricket Club beat Ravi gymkhana by 69 runs at the LCCA ground to win the final of the North Zone League Cricket here on Sunday.

Batting first, Akhtar Abdur Rehman Cricket Club made 213 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted overs. Imran Butt was the top scorer with 54 runs. Junaid Sajid (34). Hafiz Umer (29) and Muhammad Waseem (26) were other run-getters. For Ravi Gymkhana Ashfaq Ahmad took three wickets for 38 runs while Rashid Butt grabbed two for 37. Chasing the Target, Ravi Gymkhana were all out for 144 runs. Ashfaq Ahmad (4/36) and Waleed Mobeen (2/9) and Jahanzeb (2-26) bowled Akhtar Abdur Rehman Club to an emphatic win. Director National Cricket Academy Aamir Sohail was the Chief Guest on the occasion who distributed the prizes among the players.
