india and pakistan

Mumbai experienced its worst accident perhaps in the history, when a group of militants attack the heart of India (Mumbai) on 26th of November, Wednesday. The attacked was made by proper trained militants who perhaps trained by International Terrorism Organisation. Its is so well organised militants, that even Indian Army Commandos took around 72 hours to make the situation normal. The attacked were took place at different places, however the most serious attacked took place at Taj mahal Hotel and another took place at Oberrio hotel both are five star. In these deadliest attacks around 220 people were killed and more than were 500 injured. Moreover, Indian chief of anti-terrorist squad was also killed with encounter specialist is also one of those. 20 foreigners were also killed including Americans and British nationals.

Subsequently, the blame game started and all the fingers pointed towards Pakistan. The Indian Government claimed that Pakistani intelligence agencies were directly or indirectly involved in that whole episode. Moreover Indian Media start propagating that all the militants come from Pakistan they even indentified the mastermind of that whole episode they named it “Reman” it’s a joke from my point of view, just think for a minute that Pakistan is already in big crisis from Economic to Food. Pakistan is already facing terrorism and militancy in there own country i.e. FATA, Swat etc so how it is possible for Pakistani government to do that kind of bloodshed. On the other hand, the prime minister of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani proposes for full support and help to the Indian government, as he decided to sent representative of ISI will go to New Delhi to assist them.

Furthermore, in India there will be general election in January 2009, so Indian government want to save their position for the next upcoming elections. Apparently it is big failure of the government intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies who obviously failed to do their job. If Indian government accepts their own mistake and responsibility then the anger of the people of India will turned towards their own government and state, which obliviously they don’t want.

Similarly, it’s a big phenomena in the world history that when no facts or evidence were found then blame game start’s which always ended on some third party involvement, apparently somebody has to be blamed rather than no one.

Despite of all facts and figures, now situation is totally changed; many critics argued that situation is going towards WAR between two nuclear armed states. Everybody know that India is the first one to threaten Pakistan ,the objective behind war is make India more powerful as far as it’s influence is concerned in South-Asia. Influence I mean to make its position more stable and vibrant from strategic perspectives. Perhaps USA wants to use India, to counter China and Iran economy and yes military as well, which they know Pakistan will not do that. If God forbid War takes place between two nuclear armed states, then there will be nothing but yes death’s, murder, atrocities, rape, crime ,bloodshed, more and more which we unable to think of. Just think if nuclear bombs will be used then there will be no life in the region(everything will be end)…..Pakistan military is about 0.5 Million and Indian military is around 1.5 Million, which is world 2nd largest military and three times of Pakistan military. Nevertheless, world accept the fact the Pakistani military men are the bravest and passionate in war, the example is been shown in 1965 war, when Pakistan was not a nuclear power..!

In conclusion, I believe whatever is been done at Mumbai by militants is totally condemnable and against international law. However, war is the not the bright option, it will not solve the problem at all instead it will create more problems in the region. Indian government should think carefully on that matter, if they take the wrong step then the consequences would be very harsh and painful.

good post junaid.

do you have any data related to the changes in Indian peace stance towards Pakistan during there election times?

i have heard so much about how Indian government uses Pakistan as an election campaign gimmick! i was thinking a factual report would be an interesting read.

maidiya..! you the know Indian government intention at that point in time..
Pakistan and India got their independence around 60 years back in between ,Both countries fought 2 wars,so it is not difficult to judge, predict or to know what any country want to achieve.I am not biased, but yes what i feel, believe or know what is right and wrong i give that perspective.
Moreover, yes i have the data related to the chances in Indian peace stance toward Pakistan.

hi junaid,
when you say "Everybody know that India is the first one to threaten Pakistan ,the objective behind war is make India more powerful as far as it’s influence is concerned in South-Asia" , it doesnt seem a very objective view. It seems your 'Everybody' inlcudes you and probably a bunch of your ilk.
Secondly, "world accept the fact the Pakistani military men are the bravest and passionate in war, the example is been shown in 1965 war, when Pakistan was not a nuclear power". Here, Junaid, you might want to go back and check history.
I agree with you, when you say that war is not the solution. But state sponsered terrorism is a war by other means and in my opinion cowardly means. I believe the best solution for Pakistan would be to act against terrorism rather than be in a denial.

@ me_ask
Hi....
If you think that India is NOT the first who threaten Pakistan on war, then i ask a question from you directly,Who is the first one to threaten the other state?simple is that!
Secondly,as far as military is concerned then,Indeed India got world second largest military however,Pakistan Military is not a piece od a cake.If it is like, that then after the independence i.e 1947,India can easily kick Pakistan from that very day unfortunately India is not capable of that. Both countries are now nuclear powers, and if you know about the nuclear bombs then within 1 hour.. 10 cities can be easily erased or removed.
Moreover,i just want to bring your attention to a particular point,Please take it seriously and think on that for just 30 seconds.Pakistan is already in crisis from food to Economy ,Pakistan has taken loan from IMF due to lack of reserves,Pakistani government do not have much time to do this kind of nonsence because they are newly elected,if they fail to do their job then the consequences would be very serious and negative. So, A government which do not have that much fund to provide basic necessities then how can Pakistani government can sponsored this type of huge terriosm ...
