WINTER STORMS: DON'T PANIC, IT'S NOT GLOBAL WARMING

SAN FRANCISCO, CA,--Many people claim these storms are do to Global Warming, but the facts(past history)show that it is normal winter behavior.

In the past twenty years or more, there has been a pattern that California has been following: Before Christmas, California has had for fifty-three years major snow storms in early December. After these storms, the Pineapple Express--warm rain storms from Hawaii--passes through California and melts the snow. Usually, this takes place during the Christmas and New Years seasons.

In 1954-55 winter season, as a child, I got caught in an open field in a major snow storm--elevation 1,000 Ft.--and a week later, I saw a house go down a river near Jacksonville, CA, do to the Pineapple Express.

Before claiming that Global Warming is causing these storms, check back into the winter storms of California to see the state's pattern. You cannot say that Global Warming is causing everything that nature does.

Granted some things can happen under the Global Warming theory--what ever that is--but before you claim that everything in nature is caused by Global Warming check the past history of that area. Remember, this is winter, strong, cold winter storms are coming and so are warm rain storms.

So far, the way it looks, California's weather is predictable and there is nothing strange about it. Strong cold storms and after these storms, the Pineapple Express comes through and melts the snow. Then in January and February the snow that falls will become the snow pack for the rest of the winter season.

So, don't panic, our winter, so far, looks normal, according to California's history.
