you dont want war

Going nuclear sounds more like a fashion statement than a catastrophic end to what the people in the sub – continental region call home. What may seem as a very heroic defense for both the nations may end up as the worst example of statesmanship and diplomacy. Please bear in mind while reading this that we are dealing with high powered egos of a few of our leaders. These are the leaders whom we elected through a process called democracy, which states that the power rests in the hands of the masses. The masses who are silent in this regard. Are they waiting for the big bang or they are just fed up with everything.

The latter seems more likely. When the governments of both the countries (India and Pakistan) have locked horns together and yet none has snorted as yet, its pretty apparent that nothing might happen in retaliation to the Mumbai mayhem. But that’s only an assumption that we can make. The facts state a different story.

The Indian media hasn’t left any stone unturned in thrashing the Pakistani government for protecting imaginary militant agencies. Thanks a lot Bollywood, your imagination is well acknowledged. Little that many Indians know is that their government in India isn’t able to control their own militia problem. What’s happening in Sri Lanka is by no means a sea monster on prowl but the Indian Tamils.

When on a diplomatic level the Pakistani hand awaits a response from the opposite side, Indian air crafts violates international air space and like a kindergarten student who knows he ate everyone else’s lunch, spits ‘It wasn’t me’ in your face. A piece of advice to my friends next door, please live up to the dreams of what Mahatma Gandhi envisioned you to be.

Sub continent is our home and its our duty to protect what is ours. Waging war was by no means ever the best way to solve problems. It should be avoided at all costs. Have we all forgotten how we fought for this land of ours. Have we all forgotten the sacrifices that our fore fathers made for us to live a dignified life, a liberated life. It was only to prosper and grow and to be secure that they sold their souls and not to die amongst our selves.

i really dearly wish bilal that this seeps into the minds of those leading the nation. It hasn't for god knows 50 plus years now ?! the world thought it did but the current situation just shows how these nations are still standing at the same junction, history is still so fresh in there blood
