Nice article, emsheikh. I agree with what you have said. These models under-dressed, although looking fashionably stunning represent Pakistan on global platforms but they forget that the country they are coming from has some norms and values and modernization doesn’t mean that you let go of those values. Our fashion industry is mainly making money and booming on the grounds of becoming totally westernized. One can always look glamorous and represent in decent attire and with sophistication in personality.

You know what? I wanted to add this thing in the article that showing your skin wearing backless and capri pants doesn't make you look gorgeous. It kind of does but that falls into the vulgar category. And revealing most of your body isn't what all fashion consists of.
But somewhere in the middle, having a mind block, I forgot to highlight these two points.
But you see, if they have to represent themselves on an international scale, they have to do what the international audience requires. But that can either be labeled as westernization or modernization, although these models have been using the term 'liberal' for skin showing. I completely disagree with the kind of sense of this so called fashion they're influencing the audience with, but yet again, the audience is actually so easy to influence. We're screwed if we do, we're screwed if we don't!
