Shoe-throwing reporter gets bravery award

The libyan charity today chairded by leader Mummar Gaddafi's daughter gave a bravery award to the journalist who threw his shoes at Mr. Bush.

The group, headed by Aicha Gaddafi, said in a statement that, its a courage award becouse what he did represents a victory for human rights accross the world.

The footage of the incident has been played several times on Arab and Iran TV station.

    I find it amusing that this is being made such a big deal in the Muslim world. Although, not surprised, however, it is also interesting how it has not caused the least bit of an outrage either. A befitting farewell to Bush?

    Love him or hate him, you have to admit Bush has pretty good reflexes for dodging shoes.
