Ladies and Gentlemen, let me introduce you to this…umm...This person. I would like to call him, "The Tree-sleeper." This image caught my attention while I was going through some of the selected coolest pictures on a website. The issue here is that I do not understand what this man is doing up there on this tree in such a difficult, and I am quite sure an uncomfortable posture.
What little information that website had to give about this tree-sleeper was that this is an Indian man who sleeps on this tree in the same posture for as many as 17 hours per day. Now, I would say that is no productivity he is showing by sleeping while clinging to a tree in this way every single day!
My question here is for everybody who gets to see this image and read this to please help me find some productive reason or even a noble cause for which this tree-sleeper has devoted his life to sleep 17 hours a day while clinging to this tree.
Is this some form of meditation? Or is it a way to offer self sacrifice for mankind to come out of the shadows of evil, violence, greed, and hatred?
Or is it this man is simply in love with this tree and this is his way of showing his love and passion for this tree by clinging to it symbolizing the famous, “Till death do us apart!” phrase. If you have a better explanation for this image, please share your voice and save my mind from losing logic due to extreme confusion, thanks to this image!
