Bedlam Spreads as Greece Burns

The world stares wide-eyed as city after city falls into chaos, slowly finding their voices, finding their cause. Whether it be governmental corruption or empathy for the family of a 15-year-old shot dead by a cop, people have risen up and taken their fate into their own hands. This travesty is so rotten, deceitful and shameful, that I feel dirty just for knowing about it, and so should you. The people are becoming restless and in a time of political, economic, and social unrest, they think it's time for a revolution.

People march in the streets, jaded by years of globalization and joblessness, their strife as their cause. By tomorrow, there will be protests in nearly twenty countries around the world, drawing attention to the decadent, depraved corporations that we call nations. But we remain distant, even in the depth of the most trying times we've seen in decades. Our economy's in shambles, our politics are a joke, and society's reached such a level of censorship, that it lays apathetic, completely anesthetized to any and all unregulated thought. And yet, we still remain disconnected when all across Europe, "Sporadic expressions of Solidarity" spread like wild-fire. So I ask the question, Why are we so comfortable?

Remember folks, Europe's in the same position as we are; they've reached the highest level of unemployment in living memory, their economy has plummeted, and their youth have been left with a mess. However, the only distinction lies in their tolerance level. They just can't tolerate as much corruption, apathy, and depravity. Capitalism is ready to fail, but chaos will not follow, only order without control.
