After receiving a phone call from the US Attorney early morning on the 9th, regarding the two agents waiting for him outside his home, Rod BlagojevichRod Blagojevich put on what appeared to be a blue jogging suit and stepped outside. Although it is unknown whether his children were awake when he was placed into handcuffs, his wife was and she was aware that he was being arrested. He was placed into the vehicle and taken to jail. Although, after sitting about 24 hours in jail, he was released and was seen getting out of a black SUV at his office the very next day.
