An Israeli website suggests that Tel Aviv might help India carry out covert operations inside Pakistan in retaliation for the Mumbai attacks.

India has asked for Israeli assistance in cross-border attacks against "Islamist terrorists" inside Pakistan, reported Debka which is believed to have ties with intelligence and military sources.

Israel, seeking revenge for the murder of six Jews in a Mumbai's Chabad center in November, has expressed willingness to help India in such operations, the website claimed.

According to the report New Delhi has sought Tel Aviv's help because of Israeli spies' experience in carrying out such operation without leaving any trace.

Tension is running high between India and Pakistan over a series of terrorist attacks in the Indian economic hub of Mumbai which left hundreds killed and injured.

Although New Delhi has accused Pakistani intelligence agencies of masterminding the attacks, Islamabad has denied any involvement in the carnage.

Earlier on Monday, however, Pakistan arrested Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operation chief, on charges of masterminding the Mumbai terror attacks.

This is while some Indian analysts blamed Israeli intelligence agencies of masterminding the plot, basing their theory on the fact that some of the victims of the attacks were anti-Zionist Jews.

woo woo hold on ... i mean what in the world is going on. Why cant people talk about peace? Whats with this lets get together and kill a hundred more people. Is this the solution ?

So if a bunch of idiots i.e. 'terrorist' killed innocent lives, the supposedly 'not terrorist' countries should become one?

We all need to find answers for ourselves or at least ask our governments to act rationally

I firmly agree! I wish I did not delete the link but I had the story also from Israel that they were training and supplying the Georgian" before Russia attacked. Israel seems to be goading us and behind everything everywhere around the world like Bush. I just do not get it!

This is very scary indeed for Pakistan and rest of the world, Pakistan is nuclear power, any destabilization could lead to a nuclear fallout. This is not good, we need to help Pakistan become stable! not bomb specific targets in the country and get 160Million people angry.

I firmly agree! Pakistan's nukes are of grave concern! I do not know if you saw my 2 comments to maidiya but as I have been saying for years I only see this ending in WW3 what I call a forever war and Bush has been instigating it with the help of Israel. One thing most do not realize is at last count there were 4 carrier battle groups in the gulf that could attack Iran, Pakistan, or whatever without a great troop increase or so I am afraid the plan is!

all this is getting silly. i don't see any reason for war. india nor pakistan can afford it. the UN should oversee the investigation in india to make sure the genuine parties are identified--no agenda driving the investigation. my bigger worry is the role obama's admin will play given that many members have a pro israel and pro india stand...

This is beyond sill! I have been saying for years now that this is just beginning and will end in only one way. Everyone seems to want to fight to get their way including the US. This is all long instigated. If you saw the prior comments you know and that is a small part of it!
