Las Vegas,Nevada - Team Pacquiao was not really convinced about the official weigh in results this morning at MGM Grand garden arena after Oscar dela Hoya tipped the scales at exactly 145 lbs. whereas Manny Pacquiao's official weigh in scale is now 142 lbs. According to National Security Adviser (NSA) official Luis "Chavit" Singson, he was totally surprised when he saw Manny tipped the scales at 142 lbs. while an hour ago his weight was at 146 lbs, he added that how could Manny lose 4 lbs that fast in just an hour for Manny never had any exercises to make him sweat and even ate an egg before the official weigh-in, so Singson said thats impossible to happen.
Singson added that Team Pacquiao should file a complaint about what happened, cause they are cheated on the scale. "How could that happened for Manny to shed all his 4 lbs in just an hour".
He is not really convinced about the official result, and he thought that Manny was cheated or the weighing scale was adjusted so as not to let Dela Hoya exceed the weight limit of 145 lbs. He also thinks that the true weight of Oscar Dela Hoya might be at 149 lbs. and not 145 lbs which was on the official result, so theres a possibility that the scale was tampered before the official weigh in of both boxers.
The observation of Singson was also seconded by Rex "Wakee" Salud adviser of Pacquiao. " I think we are cheated,an hour ago Manny was 146 lbs, now on the official scale he's 142 lbs." said Salud. he also added that they are not going to compliain about it because they cant do anything now for its the official result.
Based on the contract agreement between the two boxers, a fine of $3 million dollars on every pound exceeded from the 147 lbs catchweight will be imposed between them and directly given to the boxers themselves. If the excess weight is about 2 lbs the fight will be cancelled according to the contract. (Bomboradyo) - Agmamayo
