Dear Mr. Manmohan SinghManmohan Singh ji Can we trust you when you and your colleagues indicate that there is a link to Pakistan in this attack on India? Really, can we? Please, even...
My dear friend Skand, as a human being, I can understand and feel your pain and agony. Like any peace loving person with a compassionate heart, I not only have all my sympathies with you and your brothers and sisters and your whole nation, but all my prayers are also there for those suffered and those who lost their loved ones.
But my dear friend, I only request you one thing. In this highly sensitive and critical time, we need to think and reason with logic. Whoever the culprits were behind this horrific carnage, they can never belong to any religion or any nation. I would request you to think with open mind, believe only in rational and logical deductions that are not only based on true facts but are also supported with solid evidence.
Blaming the neighboring nation for something they have not done will not only make thing worse between the two countries, but probably the ‘third party’ (terrorist belonging to no religion and no nation) will succeed in its plan of spreading more unrest and conflict with this terror spectacle of theirs.
Dear SKand! i will agree with Popri..and just add one point to his comment it is very easy to blame any body but it very hard to be patient and not draw conclusions without concrete proofs..Just think for a minute and realize why would Pakistan do it? What possible gain can they get? coz they themselves are going through the worst time in history and they are so stuck with their issues that thinking about attacking India in such a manner would not be in their agenda at all...anyways please wait for the proofs and only then draw conclusions..
There are a few issues here: 1. Mr. Manmohan Singh ji's machinery has already indicated that the terrorists came from Karachi, Pakistan. What I want him to do is to think again before committing himself to it. If he or his men open their mouth without thinking now, making us (ordinary citizens of India) believe something and later they make a U turn, we (the ordinary Indian citizens) shall be extremely embarrassed. Why? Because in between their U turn, we would have gone about making charges against people who were not to be blamed. However, if these terrorists were sent by some organisation in Pakistan, India should go after them like never before.
2. This is not a court case India is fighting where you are innocent until proven otherwise. I am afraid this is a war India is fighting. And it must be fought with rules that apply to war. India must not wait till someone offers a conclusive evidence on a platter for it to act. It will never happen. Once our agencies are convinced based on the circumstantial evidences and interrogations of people caught, India should start it's action.
3. It is known to everyone that Pakistan created certain groups to fight USSR in Afghanistan. It is these groups that were diverted by ISI towards Kashmir. The rulers of early 1990s and current Pakistan have different mindsets. The NGO monsters, specialising in terror care two hoots to what the Pakistan government is asking it to do - that is give up arms. These Laskar-e-taiba etc are NOT in control. In addition they do get some support of ISI because they have old links (India is saying that as well as US is saying that). Under these circumstances, while it may be true that the perpetrators are not from Pakistan government establishment, the fact they are from Pakistani soil is enough for India to be peeved. India MUST ask Pakistani government to hand-over these people to India. If Pakistan does not do that, India should take direct action; come what may! All this let me repeat, IF Mr. Manmohan Singh ji is conviced that these terrorists came from Pakistani soil. If he has any doubt then he should come out in open and say, "Sorry folks, I and my men made a mistake while pointing finger in Pakistan direction."
If you allow your younger brother to become a 'dada' because it helps you too, for some years you may remain happy. As you become older the younger brother may start his 'dadagiri' on you too, as well as in the neibourhood. He may not stop his dadagiri when you ask him to do. In fact he may give you a kick or two if you do not act as per his wishes. You may start complaining that you too are a victim of your younger brother's goondagiri. You may even disown him and start living separately. But does he care? He is the 'dada'. So when the neighbours complain to you 'your family members are coming in our area and hurting people', you might respond, "Don't be ridiculous. Why would people from my home disturb you? In fact we ourselves are victims of dadagiri".
But do the neighbours care? Can they believe you that now you have nothing to do with your younger brother? That you in fact have disowned him and do not live together? After all for years they have seen the two of you living together, growing together, laughing together...
Both countries have their own "dadas". If Pakistan allowed its younger brother to become a "dada" then it is not a new thing. This is exactly the same how India allowed its servants (Army Generals and Cols.) to bombing Samjhota Express and burning hundred of innocent neighbors alive. If you cant control your servants then how can you expect your neighbors to control their younger brothers.
