Thanks a lot Kalex for such an interesting and informative report. I must say that R&D in medical science and spread of awareness among common people has played a great role in bringing these cancer percentages down. As far as melanoma rates are concerned, well one very important factor that may be playing a catalytic role in its rise could be the damages done to the ozone layer thanks to atmospheric pollution. Men hardly use sunscreens and probably that is why they are more vulnerable to melanomas.

Kalex! your report has actually been an eye opener and informed me about a lot of facts that i didn't know before.. I think Majdy rightly put it that the ratio of cancer disease as compared to other diseases is dropping because of medical awareness in people. another for reason for the drop in figures can be the fact that people are becoming cautious and preventive about diseases and they try taking preventive measures rather than taking treatment for a disease..
