The hidden root of every crime

I hear in this man's land, guns are cheaper than life. Once you hold a gun, the span of time that it takes you to pull the trigger, is the number of seconds that kills your hesitation to shoot. Next thing you would know is, you are bound to hold a gun again either because of the feeling of having the power or for any other reason that may be curiosity for instance. But when that gun is pointed towards you, is the real state of mind that you go through. All those questions circling round and round in your head, wondering ‘why me?', or how to escape, etc, brings you down to one reason; the increasing crimes and the increasing victims of it, like you. The hidden root cause of every crime is called unemployment. To put an end to such crimes that are initiated from unemployment, they (the crimes) should be addressed not only by the government but also with the effort of the masses.

According to the Google website, the definition of unemployment is, "the state of an individual looking for a paying job but not having one." The person who is looking for a job is basically looking for opportunities to earn money whether or not the job suits his qualification. Most workers are mainly interested in a good pay and not in building a better career. Conclusion says that if the company is looking for capabilities then the workers are looking for money. When the matter becomes completely and only about money, the worker can do anything to get it. Anything! This dilemma supported by unemployment, leads to frustration and frustration leads to crimes. And this deadly virus named street crimes kills many as the polluted economy creates unemployment in the country.

Aside from the majority that is unemployed, even the working class has no job security from the Government. One day they are employed, the other day they are fired. Another major reason that is requesting through unfair means is playing a very active role in increasing the percentage of unemployment by hiring those who may not be capable but belong to political or industrial families for example. They use their ‘contacts' to get the job that someone else might have deserved more. This society also lacks moral and emotional boosting that can play an effective role in individual terms. For example, if today I am unemployed, nobody would try to help me in anyway. Perhaps this is because the lives of people are already full of hassles that they cannot spare even a second and think about helping others.

This is just an overview of the prevailing conditions of unemployment. The consequences are even worse than a nightmare. The more time a man spends redundantly, the more frustration increases. He would constantly be thinking about how to make both ends meet and how to get the money to fulfill his basic needs and from where. After getting rejected from places one after the other, he may eventually lose hope, probably thinking his life is useless and this is how it was meant to be. He would start thinking of ways to get the money without having to strive hard for it. As we say, the idle brain is the Devil's workshop, assuming the first idea that would come to his mind would be to commit a crime. So this is where the street crimes start playing their part. Snatching cars at gunpoint, mobile snatching, even committing a murder if he has to, just for little amount of money is what he would prefer doing. That would be his new job. Obviously, when his basic needs would be getting fulfilled, why would he even want to think of earning decently?

There are categories of people involved in such crimes. The first ones are those who do not want to work and sit idle with their own will. They don't want a job. If they are offered one, that job would not be considered up to the mark. The second ones are those who have been rejected several times that they have lost hope and want to make money without working hard. Third category consists of policemen but this is rather rare. With all due respect, they get people to participate in street crimes to get the money for them, so that the policemen don't even have to make that little effort of making money by hook because they are doing it by crook. The fourth street criminals are actually people from good families who take part in street crimes just for the sake of fun or are habitually like that or maybe putting other people into misery gives them some kind of satisfaction.

The complex of being rich and loaded with money has taken control over people's nerves to an extent that they would do and are doing anything to pose themselves as a part of the rich class. For such acts, they even go off track and this is the main reason why street crimes are increasing as everyday that passes.
