Ask Finnair, the Future of Flying in 2093!

“What will the world be like in 85 years' time? How will we fly then?” These were the questions boldly welcoming anyone who visits the Departure 2093 website. Most of us do not know how future will transform our flying transports but I must say the ingenious experts at Finnair have one extraordinary imagination and what we call a “Vision for the future!”

While the rest of us have been busy talking about the same old spacecraft innovation and flying cars, these Finnair people have come up with five awesome futuristic models of aircrafts to be launched supposedly in the year 2093. The best thing about these aircrafts is that they not only have ultra stream-lined exteriors and entertainment-rich interiors but they boast to revolutionize the whole concept of flying in an eco-friendly manner. These aircrafts will be made with 100 percent recyclable material!

Finnair futuristic fleet include; Finnair A600-850 M, Finnair A600-850, Finnair A1700-2400 Cruiser, An aircraft for everyone, and Space hotel’s service ship. These aircrafts will be offering almost everything related to comfort and entertainment. All of them will be zero-emission air-crafts designed for both short-haul and long-haul routes. One of the aircrafts’ 85 percent of surface is covered with electricity generating solar cells.

Space hotel’s service ship will even cater to space tourism. You will find entertainment features like Hologram theatres, restaurants, bars and shops, beauty parlors, first-aid stations, gymnasium rooms, and even a quiet room on these futuristic aircrafts. A wonderful example of comfort and entertainment topped with luxury under one roof indeed! Finnair is planning to introduce their first version of “An aircraft for everyone” in 2020.

One reason why I am exceedingly excited about this futuristic fleet is that this is probably the first time that a commercial airline has envisioned a futuristic fleet keeping environment in mind. I salute those visionaries to have come up with such an amazing futurity!
