Single Sex Education system!

A study by Harvard Medical School in America found that parts of the frontal lobe of the brain, which controls decision-making and problem-solving functions, were proportionally larger in women than men. The area of the brain which regulates emotions is also larger than in men.

Research has also indicated that girls are more likely to be stimulated to read by classical romances such as Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights, while boys tend to respond more to action stories. In addition, girls are regarded as more methodical and better suited to modular GCSEs, while boys are more capable of last-minute revision to excel at examinations.

Vicky Tuck, president of the Girls' School Association which represents the foremost independent girls' schools, is of the view that far from living in the dying days of single-sex education it is a proven fact that girls learn in a different way to boys and it is crucial to cater for their separate needs.

But does that mean that single sex schools wil make a come back? in my opinion it is not a realistic thought becasue by doing that the education system will cater to only one need which is males anf females think and analyse in different manners and neglecting all others.
