What really happened to Heather Szekeres?

It's been nearly a year since Heather Szekeres was last seen, and now it seems that her case is a little bit more than just a random disappearance. With almost a year passed it's hard to believe that this woman wandered off on her own to start a new life, and it's even harder to believe that she'd do so without at least contacting her loved ones. Nonetheless, the woman is still missing.

Rob Szekeres -- the woman's husband -- is among the last people to see her, and he once gave a short interview for an AllVoices exclusive. Unfortunately as the anniversary of his wife's disappearance looms near, Rob isn't readily available for comment. And word through the grapevine has it that he's already been dating other women. Of course he wasn't immediately available to confirm or deny these claims in person.

I wonder if officials in Wisconsin are doing all they can to locate this woman. It just seems rather odd that she'd vanish like this, leaving behind her loved ones without any word. It also just seems convenient that her case would go cold so quickly. So what are the cops doing in this region? Can they not figure out what happened to Heather Szekeres?
