Angie Pipkin is still missing, but her case is moving forward with an arrest made by the Horry County Police Department. Randy Gale Robinson has been charged with obstruction of justice in relation to Pipkin's disappearance -- which took place back in January of this year. What does this arrest mean in the big scheme of Angie's disappearance? Hopefully this means that her loved ones will be brought at least a step closer to finding out what happened.
The official Horry County Police Department Facebook page shares details of the arrest here, revealing that Randy Gale Robinson gave false information that "prevented, impeded, or interfered with an investigation by, including but not limited to, providing false, misleading, and/or inaccurate information ergarding the disappearance of Angela Grace Pipkin....(read more here)."
Robinson was presumably the last person to have contact with Pipkin, as he is the friend that she was reportedly being dropped off to see back when she first vanished. So it doesn't bode well for him in the investigation since all circumstantial evidence already points in his direction.
This arrest is similar to the arrests of Tammy Caison Moorer and Sidney Moorer in relation to the Heather Elvis disappearance -- which slightly indicates the investigative tactics used by Horry County investigators. First comes obstruction of justice charges, and then the more serious charges -- if there are any -- come later. Is that going to be the way it goes in this case as well?
