This week on "Face Off" the artists enter the world of wizards when they meet up with McKenzie at the Magic Castle - a members only club in Los Angeles - to learn their challenge for the week.

Revealing a series of wands, McKenzie tells the group that they must choose a wand and create an original Wizard that reflects the wand. This is an individual challenge.

McKenzie and her Dad Michael come into the workroom on the first day for a walk through and to offer some advice. While Michael is impressed by a few of the designs, he is concerned about some of them. While some of the artists heed the advice Michael has for them, Cat has decided to keep her design the way she originally planned it.

Niko was a bit frustrated and worried about his Wizard and whether or not he would have enough time to complete it.

Graham borrows Niko to take a photo of his ribcage for his Wizard.

Tyler is very inspired by the challenge.

Chloe is having some trouble with her design, she is running way behind and has to change a number of things just to get it done. Chloe is not inspired by her piece.

George encounters a big problem when his model is allergic to the glue used to apply the face; fortunately George had crafted two faces.

In a rare change, Rashaad is going minimal in his design, instead of creating a massive makeup.

It's last looks and the artists are getting very haggard and frustrated, hoping that they can get everything done in time. Only Tyler is confident he will complete his Wizard in time.

After the reveal and closer looks Rashaad, Graham, and Daran were all safe; the remaining artists were the top and bottom looks for the week.

The judges felt that Corinne did a great job executing the makeup, had a stupendous paint job with great colouring that looked fantastic and had some very smart unique elements.

Chloe's fears were realized when the judges said that she had been a little too heavy handed, bit off a little more than the time would allow, and the pattern on her chest pieces was a meandering confusion.

Neville said that there was so much he liked about George's Wizard. The judges said the Wizard had a sophistaed design, was gorgeous, and resonated through George. Ve loved the paint job.

While Glenn loved the wings on Cat's Wizard, it was the only thing that he liked; adding that the sculpture detracts from the makeup. Ve said that the character looks like a refugee from a craft store.

Noting that Tyler had obviously spent time in the woods, the judges said Tyler did a great job where everything blended together, was well designed, felt authentic, was tremedously successful, and they were impressed with the amount of work that Tyler had done.

The judges said that so much had gone wrong with Niko's Wizard; warning him to watch his hard surfaces and he obviously had a lack of knowledge on the subject matter.

After deliberations, Glenn announced that the winner of the challenge was George. Glenn said that George transcended the challenge. It was the first win for George.

Chloe, Cat, and Niko all faced elimination. Saying that they had some touch choices, Glenn said that in the end they could not get past the arts and crafts nature of the design and eliminated Cat.

As the artists were saying goodbye to Cat, McKenzie came into the makeup room. Some of the artists were not exicted over seeing McKenzie. Noting that she had told them this season was going to be bold and extreme; McKenzie announced that she was taking the eight remaining artists to Japan!!!!

Next week...Anime.
