After being arrested and put behind bars, Miranda Barbour confessed to have killed 22 people in Alaska. The confession came during an interview that took place on Feb. 14.
In November last year, Barbour was charged with the murder of a 42-year-old electrician who she stabbed to death. When interviewed over the weekend, not only did she confess to killing people, she also confessed to being part of some sort of satanic cult that was/is operating in the North Pole.
So far, the Alaskan Troopers have not been able to link Miranda to any of the murders she has confessed to, but they said, “At this time the Alaskan State Troopers are not aware of any information – beyond Barbour’s comments quoted in the press – or evidence that would implicate Barbour with a homicide committed in Alaska.”
According to a report on the Daily Mail, Barbour is also giving investigating authorities locations of where she committed the crimes. The FBI is also on standby in case any evidence is found that links Barbour to the unsolved murders.
Barbour managed to stir headlines across the globe while sitting behind bars and giving an interview. She admitted that she lost count of the number of people she had killed at 22, but claimed that the total number remained less than a 100.
The murder for which she is currently serving time behind bars was a plot she and her husband orchestrated. Barbour had a very colorful teenage life; along being part of a satanic cult she also admits to having being a prostitute and having aborted a baby at home.
Barbour also has a 2-year-old daughter from one of her past relationships. After being arrested, her family has been fighting over the girl’s custody. Currently her daughter is living with her father.
Barbour’s husband claimed that the child’s father is dead, while her mother Elizabeth went on record and denied the claims of the her granddaughter’s father being dead.
“He is not dead. But we don’t know who he is. It could be one of several people," Elizabeth said.
Barbour married Elytte in October 2013, before they moved from North Caroline to Pennsylvania. They were arrested and charged for murder of the 42-year-old electrician, Troy LaFerrara, in Pennsylvania.
“Barbour had told police of multiple locations which are being vetted. Search teams have been put on standby but have not begun any digs yet. We cannot confirm how many sites have been identified by Barbour," a source said.
