Man Responsible for Olympic Ring Mishap Found Dead in Sochi?

Sochi, Russia (Sun, Feb. 09) – Reported by madn3wz

A widely circulated hoax, about the murder of a staff responsible for Olympics ring mishap during the opening ceremony of 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, was debunked by the Buzz Feed today.

BuzzFeed is a website that combines a technology platform for detecting viral content with an editorial selection process to provide a snapshot of "the viral web in real-time". (Via Wikipedia)

According to the report published on website; the report originated on The Daily Currant, a satirical news site, is totally a hoax and T. Borris Avdeyev is alive and unharmed exactly opposite to the claim made by The Daily Currant.

The news published in The Daily Currant reported that the body of Boris Avdeyev, the man allegedly behind the ring mishap during opening ceremony, was found dead in his hotel room with apparently stabbing wounds.

The hoax news report makes its ways to go viral on the web with more than 11,000 retweets and 35,000 Facebook shares.
