While the search for Heather Elvis continues with no success, more details are coming to light about the establishment that employed the missing woman. It's come to my attention that at least one (and possibly two) registered sex offenders are employed by Tilted Kilt. That's not the only shocker. You see, the RSO employees in question are of the highest tier in the state of South Carolina: Tier III.
In the state of South Carolina, the term "tier III" refers to sexual offenders who are essentially the worst-of-the-worst. These are aggravated rapists, child rapists and kidnappers who have done hard time in prison for their crimes and who may pose a risk to the community (hence being put in the highest tier on the state registry).
Without necessarily naming any names (though you can click here to read more if you wish), it's important to note that there are claims that Heather Elvis may have known one of these RSOs that worked at Tilted Kilt. That doesn't mean that any employee of the pub did anything to Heather, but it draws attention to an obvious problem. Why on earth would a pub who employs scantily clad, petite, women then turn around and employ tier III sex offenders? It just seems like a completely reckless and illogical thing to do. What's next, hiring to work daycare?
I really think the public should take interest in this. It may or may not have anything to do with Heather's disappearance, but it's definitely something questionable that seems unsafe for the young women who work there.
