Total 2 Players has been retained by Kolkata Knight Riders before Auction process of IPL 2014. One Indian Player: Gautam Gambhir and one overseas player: Sunil Narine (West Indies) has been already selected for IPL 7 Kolkata Knight Riders Squad before Auction process.

Kolkata Knight Riders Owners might include new faces on this year Auction and at the same time few previous years players has to depart from Kolkata Knight Riders squad of IPL season 7, 2014. The Auction process for IPL-7 scheduled on 12 and 13 February,2014 at Bangalore.
