Pakistani Army chief welcomed the resolution passed by the parliament. He said that the resolution indicated that the Pakistani people wanted to tackle the militancy. He expressed these views while addressing the passing out ceremony of the 118th PMA Long Course at the Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul. There is no doubt civilians leaders have plucked up their courage to fight militancy. The question is : Will the Pak Army help in their plans?

We have observed that Pakistan Army has made a habit of destroying the good plan chalked out by the civilian leaders. I hope and pray that gravity of the situation will compel them to help civilian leaders.
