Foley, Minn. man Jamie R. Wylie is still missing (as reported in this recent post). While media reports continue to share news of the man's disappearance, police are still apparently at a loss for words -- but apparently they have reason to believe that he's been harmed. What's most shocking (or maybe not shocking at all if you ask the right people) police appear to believe that someone very, very close to him might have killed him.
Wylie's wife took to Facebook recently to declare her innocence regarding the man's disappearance. It's a pretty strange new development in his case, but it's one that does not indicate a pleasant ending one way or the other. You see, her home was raided and what police were looking for indicates that she is a person of interest or suspect in his disappearance -- or worse.
"Our home was raided at 3am [sic] the warrent [sic] was for Jamie Wylie himself, or evidence DNA notes or info to him [sic] whereabouts!!!!!! Omg! I am devistted [sic] I could never harm my husband! Although a few say different... I am done with this!" Dana Nistler said on Facebook.
The wife of the missing man also said this:
"I need more from everyone, he really may not come home and Jayce needs everyone to talk right about his mommy for his daddy's sake."
When I dug a little deeper, I found that someone from Jamie's side of the family is accusing Dana Nistler of murdering Jamie -- which is quite the accusation! Why would someone accuse a woman of murdering her husband and the father of her child? And why would police feel compelled to literally raid her home in the middle of the night? Does some kind of evidence or suspicion exist that implicates Nistler?
