Tragedy unfolds in the village of Kolzari and the world is oblivious to the enormity of the problem. multinationals and the Indian government have profited from the sale of spurious BT Cotton seeds which led to failure in crop yield resulting in thousands having resorted to suicide . The minister callously refers these suicides as an act of cowardice by farmers who are plain lazy and have chosen to seek the easy way out. The Prime Minister has promised aide which has never reached the farmers and their widows instead the money has been usurped and lands forcibly signed over by unscrupulous landowners and zamindars. The widows are being used for prostitution by all the wealthy village men. 10000 deaths and the number is growing 4-5 per day yet the world is ignorant. where are the NGO's and the Human Right people. If the Holocaust was shameful this is worse. The tragedies continue to unfold and the women exploited. Corruption has never claimed so many lives before this.
