The search for Chrissy Williams has expanded to the Ohio River and the Shawnee National Forest -- indicating that officials may be looking for a body, and not a living person. The car she was believed to had been driving still hasn't been located either -- which offers just a tiny shred of hope. If the car has not yet been found abandoned, that means it could still be mobile or in use, which ultimately means that she could be alive. However, that is the best case scenario at this point in Chrissy's disappearance.
Deep ravines have been searched for her vehicle, and boats have been put out on the water in hopes of locating some kind of anomaly. No results have been reported, indicating that officials are still nowhere in the search for her. It has been clarified, however, that all cellphone and financial (bank) activity associated with this woman ended the day she vanished (Dec. 2). This is always indicative of foul play.
Did someone murder Chrissy Williams? It seems more and more likely with each day that passes that she isn't found. Officials have long reported that she may be in danger, but have refused to share why. Perhaps it's time for investigators to release some more information in this case! The public and the media can be of great assistance in solving this case.
Williams isn't the only woman currently missing under suspicious circumstances in the state of Illinois. Courtney Coats was last seen by her boyfriend, who claims that she packed a bag and left on foot after telling him off. Of course, it's strange that she chose to do this since she has a vehicle, so her boyfriend's story is suspicious as hell. Suspicious or not, it's still strange that these two women are missing in much the same way. Hopefully officials in Illinois can get to the bottom of both of these cases, and soon.
