FX aired the “Sons of Anarchy” season 6 finale Tuesday night, and fans knew there would be big events transpiring. Many were worried that Tara would be killed after she ran with Abel and Thomas. Does she live to see season 7?
Until nearly the end of the “Sons of Anarchy” finale, it looked like Tara was actually going to make it. She and Jax came up with a plan that would keep her and the boys safe while Jax took responsibility for the school shooting. Jax spent time with the boys to say goodbye while Tara was escorted back to the house by Roosevelt.
Things went unbelievably awry when a wasted Gemma learned that a deal had been made and she was waiting at the house for Tara. Gemma didn't have all the right information, and she was way out of her mind. In a scene stunning even by “Sons of Anarchy” standards, Gemma attacked Tara. She hit her, held her head under water and then stabbed her viciously.
Juice got to the house looking for Gemma, and that's when he and Roosevelt realized Gemma was in the house with Tara. They raced into the house and found Tara down and Gemma saying she did what needed to be done. Roosvelt told Gemma what the deal really was, and as he was about to call it in, Juice shot him.
Juice got rid of the items Gemma used, but left Tara and Davenport on the kitchen floor. Jax got home and found them, and tenderly scooped Tara into his arms as he cried. He kissed her, and that's when Patterson walked into the house and saw the horrifying scene. That is where the season 6 finale of “Sons of Anarchy” ended.
What did you think of the “Sons of Anarchy” season 6 finale? The show has been renewed for season 7, but it won't premiere until September 2014. Fans will have a lot of pondering to do in the months to come as they wait to see where Kurt Sutter takes Jax, Juice, Gemma and the rest of SAMCRO in season 7 of "Sons of Anarchy."
