Fans of “Sons of Anarchy” are bracing themselves not only for the season 6 finale Tuesday, but the long stretch of time they face without new episodes. Has “Sons of Anarchy” been renewed for season 7? Just when will fans get new episodes? It'll be a long wait, but at least TVLine has confirmed what was esssentially a given: “SOA” has been renewed.
“Sons of Anarchy” season 7 has already been confirmed, and Kurt Sutter has indicated that he plans for this to be the final season. There has been some talk about letting the series rest and then perhaps doing a “Sons of Anarchy” prequel, but nothing has been set in stone on that yet. However, fans love the idea of seeing the SAMCRO founders back in the early days, and it would seem foolish of FX not to pursue this one if they can convince Kurt Sutter to give it a go.
Sutter has made it clear he has a vision for how "Sons of Anarchy" will end, and season 6 has clearly laid the groundwork for where SAMCRO heads in its final season. Of course one of the big questions revolves around the future of Jax and Tara as a couple.
Many “Sons of Anarchy” fans suspect Tara may be in grave danger in the season 6 finale given how she chose to run with Thomas and Abel. While people don't know what will happen to her, all “Sons of Anarchy” spoilers about the season 6 finale have indicated the ending will be mind-blowing and shocking.
When will “Sons of Anarchy” season 7 premiere? Sadly not until the fall of 2014. The show typically premieres each new season in September, and that is expected to be the case with “SOA” season 7 as wel. It's going to be a very long off-season for fans, but at least they can breathe knowing there is one more season ahead.
Don't miss a minute of the season 6 “Sons of Anarchy” finale airing Tuesday, Dec. 10 on FX. How do you think it'll all end?
