Chevrolet teases the public of 2015 Corvette Z06 photo at GM.com that will be introduce the next month at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The American iconic sports car is said to be the most track-capable Corvette ever according to the website.

Corvette Z06 designed to deliver supercar levels of performance through unique powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features. This car will complete Chevrolet’s performance car lineup, which will also see the addition of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, Camaro Z/28 and SS sedan.

“Chevrolet is America’s favorite performance car brand, and for 2014 we are going to offer enthusiasts more choices than ever before,” said Alan Batey, senior vice president, Global Chevrolet. “No other manufacturer will be able to match the breath of performance cars from Chevrolet.”

At the same time, American sports car fanatics have been staring at the 2015 Ford Mustang photos which was also released by Ford today.

But Corvette Z06 photo tease happens to be larger impact in the auto world, clearly not to be out-shined by their closest competitor. The supercharged C7 Corvette-based ZR1 will boost the 450 hp of the base model's LT1 V8 substantially -- perhaps to over 700 hp.

Autoweek.com describe it has larger wheels and wider tires and a track-tuned suspension will keep it glued to the tarmac, and carbon ceramic brakes make sure it all stops safely. No announcement yet of when it’s gonna be available.

How much is Corvette Z06 price? Stingray buyers shelled out at least $112,600 and expect the C7 ZR1 to command a similar hefty premium when it comes to market.
