The search for Lynchburg, Va. woman Jamisha Gilbert continues, and new details are surfacing in her case. Unfortunately these details aren't lending anything positive as far as speculation goes. In fact, the circumstances of this case, thus far, indicate that the missing woman is the victim of foul play. So has she been kidnapped or murdered?
The missing woman's mother took to the media recently to declare that she could be hiding right now because she reportedly wrecked her car. It's been speculated that the teen could be afraid of getting into trouble after wrecking the vehicle, and her mother has called out for her to come home if that be the case -- but it doesn't appear that this is necessarily what happened. Close friends of the missing woman believe that she'd be in touch with at least them if she was hiding out because of being scared.
Her mom made a statement that she doesn't believe that Jamisha's boyfriend had anything to do with the disappearance, but she's not ruling him out. So does that mean there is a possibility that her boyfriend knows what happened to her? It should be noted that in most cases of violence against women, a significant other is usually responsible. However, Jamisha Gilbert was seen walking on Friday morning around the time her car was supposedly wrecked. So it can be suggested that she was at least alive then -- so what happened to her?
