TVLine says that Nick Jonas will play a computer hacker named Ian Wright. Grover and McGarrett will serve him with a warrant, as it seems Jonas' character and his activities are a threat to national security. TV Guide adds that Grover and McGarrett are not all that happy to work together on this case, but the governor gets involved and orders the warrant. The episode is titled “Akanahe (Reluctant Partners).”

The preview shows that “Hawaii Five-0” fans will get plenty of juicy banter between McGarrett and Grover as they tackle the case. In addition, it seems the hacker has control of an aircraft, and he's threatening to drop it into the ocean if he doesn't get his way. While it is virtually certain the team will win out on this one, it looks like it'll be quite the ride to get there.
