Vancouver, Washington police have arrested an 11-year-old boy after he brought multiple knives, a gun and 400 rounds of ammo to his school. Now the boy is being charged with attempted murder, police say.
The boy's school, the Frontier Middle School was immediately put into lockdown Wednesday about 9:20 a.m. for two hours when the police came to know that boy had brought weapons on the school campus.
The boy was arrested soon after without any difficulty and no injuries were reported. Now the boy has been booked into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.
Investigation into the incident has begun according to the Vancouver Police Department.
After hearing about the incident the Facebook page for the Evergreen Public Schools which runs the Frontier Middle School was filled with comments made by worried parents of pupils studying in the school.
This incident has added to the already alarming situation of school related violence being reported across the United States.
