Wednesday night on “The X Factor” the boys and the groups faced the Four Chair Challenge. While some of the performers struggled, the manufactured group Restless Road definitely stood out. Did this group with Colton Pack, Zach Beeken and Andrew Scholz make the Oct. 9 show?'s final four in the groups category during
Scholz, Beeken and Pack originally auditioned individually, and they were put together as a group during the early shows. Would this male country trio be able to gel and impressed the groups mentor? The three guys definitely connected, and it showed.
The audience took to Restless Road immediately, and it was clear the mentors liked what they heard as well. Ladies swooned and Simon Cowell rightfully gloated a bit. Some would say this was easily one of the best performances of the night, and it was perfect having them close out the show.
All of the mentors were on their feet at the end of the performance, as was the audience.said their grouping was a brilliant idea, and said their different vocals blend well. She thought they were amazing.
said she got chills listening to them, and she even said Simon was a genius for putting them together. Simon Cowell said he felt sure from the beginning this grouping would work. He said to make it work they need talent and friendship, and he saw both of those things.
