Pro Bowl 2013 Highlights

Nike unveiled its 2014 Pro Bowl uniforms photo Tuesday. Do you like it?

When the NFL awarded Nike the contract to design its uniforms in October 2010 some -conservative traditional football fans had been concerned that the behemoth Oregon shoe and apparel company might sneak in a flashy Oregon Duck-like look of their favorite franchises.

And they did, at least for the Pro Bowl event only. Nike replaced the boring blue and red that have represented the NFC and AFC teams, respectively.

So, what are the Pro Bowl uniform new colors?

The photo above shows bright orange and volt yellow, the color that Nike has used frequently with the University of Oregon, as ESPN noted. Nike added that the uniforms will feature achievement stars on the nameplates, on to how many Pro Bowls that each player has been selected.

According to the Pro Bowl this year will have a new format that will allow fans to make their fantasy football a reality, and that is allowing players, coaches, and fans to vote for the two teams.

The draft style format allows two leading online vote-getters to be named captains and will be assisted by Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders and two other fantasy football champions in picking the two teams.

The Pro Bowl game will take place after the Super Bowl on Jan. 26 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.

So far only the Seattle Seahawks are buying it and underwent a major change to their uniform jersey. Although it looks good, it doesn’t have a touch of the Ducks that we see in this Pro Bowl uniform.
