'DWTS' week 2: Snooki and Sasha rumba

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Sasha Farber surprised a lot of people with their week 1 dance on “Dancing With the Stars.” They were back with a rumba for “DWTS” week 2, and people were anxious to see how things would go. Were Snooki and Sasha able to impress people again?

Carrie Ann said that there was a lack of fluidity in the dance and she wanted more emotion. She also called out Sasha on a couple of lifts. Len said it was neat and clear, but it seemed a bit too sharp and placed. He wanted to see more flow, but it was pretty and nice. Bruno said Snooki has great potential, but she needs to work on sustaining a character throughout the full dance.

Snooki didn't look particularly pleased with the judges' critiques, but how were the scores? Snooki and Sasha got a total score of 20 out of 30, which is fairly mediocre. It was good enough when combined with the week 1 scores and viewer's votes to keep her around until week 3 though.

Were you surprised by how the elimination went on week 2 of “Dancing With the Stars”? What did you think of Snooki and Sasha's rumba? Tune in to “DWTS” season 17 every Monday on ABC.
