Investigators in Oklahoma said they have found the remains of at least six bodies in two cars retrieved from the bottom of Foss Lake in southwestern Oklahoma. Police divers found the mud-covered vehicles during a sonar testing exercise in the lake last week.
The vehicles, possibly missing for decades ago containing the skeletal remains of six people, and might help solve cold cases for more than 40 years, the cars were revealed to be a green or brown 1950s-era Chevrolet and a 1969 Camaro.
Officials speculate the six bodies found in the cars are two separate disappearances that took place in the 1960s and 1970s.
The Camaro may have belonged to a teenager who disappeared with two other teens back in 1970, who are Jimmy Allen Williams 16, Thomas Michael Rios, 18, and Leah Gail Johnson, 18, all went missing on November 20, 1970, having gone for a drive in Williams' Camero.
The Chevy may be 69-year-old man and his two friends who went missing in the state in the late 1950s or early 1960s.
