Bayer Danger In Group A? | Champions League Special | Manchester United | DEVILS

The first round of UEFA Champions League live score coverage is all set today, Sept. 17, Tuesday with eight games scheduled kickoff at 19:45 pm BST. Last season all-German team Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are the only lucky teams that advanced the Champion League finals.

Bayern emerged as the eventual European champions but nobody expected Dortmund to reach the finals when so many good teams looked much better.

With right team chemistry, skills and little bit of luck any team can make a title run this year with already favorites like Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Porto and Napoli that can pull a cinderella story like Dortmund did.

Ukrainian champ Shakhtar lost both Fernandinho and Henrik Mkhitaryan in the summer transfer but they have signed Brazilians Fred, Wellington Nem and Bernard. Shakhtar will face Real Sociedad today in San Sebastian.

Manchester United will open their campaign versus Bayer Leverkusen at Old Trafford. Shinji Kagawa is expected to start tonight. Galatasaray takes on Real Madrid which renewed their contract to Ronaldo.

Another interesting matchup will be Viktoria Plzen against Manchester City which has fantastic additions also this summer but they manage only a draw to Stoke City over the weekend. Meanwhile defending champion Bayern Munich will face CSKA Moscow in their Group D matchup.

On Wednesday, among Champion League matchups you don't wanna miss will be Chelsea vs Basel while Olympique Marseille will play against Arsenal. Napoli will face last season runner-up Borussia Dortmund. However, Atletico Madrid takes on Zenit St Petersburg while H Barcelona will play against Ajax Amsterdam.
