The 2013 FedExCup season unfolds as golf fans keep their eyes glued at the first playoff at The Barclays tournament finale on Sunday.

According to the FedExCup standings earleir this week Tiger Woods leads at No.1 by 766 points lead behind closest competitor Matt Kuchar. Brandt Snedeker, Phil Mickelson and Bill Haas closely followed to round the top five.

That all changed after the Barclays leaderboard results on Sunday.

Tiger Woods back injury might slow him down his chance to get the cool $10 million payoff on FedEx Champ this year. Tiger went down to his knees after hitting a shot on the 13th hole on Sunday at the Barclays.

Woods back spasm seems severe but he battles it out by finishing second with 10 under, one shot behind the Barclays winner Adam Scott. This is the Aussie's second event win after winning the Masters early this year.

According to PGA Tour Live projected FedExCup points and rankings, Tiger has still slim lead and Scott who started at 11th in the FedExCup standings earlier this week now leap-frog to second place behind Woods.

Phil Mickelson strong finish at 9 under managed his way at third place after Matt Kuchar struggled at 5 under on Sunday finale. Kuchar poor showing cost him points as he slide down at 4th place.

Justin Rose who finished second along with for others round up the top five in the FedExCup standings. Brandt Snedeker now occupies at 6th place.

Another second finisher Graham DeLaet of Canada now ranked 7th in the standings also leap-frog from 27th spot last week. Bill Hass and Jordan Spieth placed at 8th and 9th spot. Gary Woodland who also placed second at Barclays, now at 10th place from the 60th position early this week.

Snedeker won the FedExCup last year after beginning last year’s post-season 19th on the points list. With that said there is still a chance for others who don’t make it in top ten.
