A recent vigil for missing teen Erica Parsons revealed that many people don't buy the story being told by her adoptive parents. Out of those who question their claim, Erica's adoptive uncle spoke out publicly against Casey and Sandy Parsons, demanding the truth. He had the following to say:
"Even my brother who sits up in that house and denies everything, he needs to come out with the truth."
His words got the crowd at the vigil riled up, and one person even hollered that they should drag the adoptive father from the home. There's not doubt that this family is being scrutinized heavily. Of course, they deserve it after failing to report her missing for two years -- and there are suspicions that Erica was abused.
There are claims that Erica appeared to "always be punished," which is indicative of an abusive household. When you add these claims to the story told by the missing teen's own brother, a story begins to form of a horrific environment that may have proved fatal.
Right now what needs to be asked is why Sandy and Casey Parsons have not been arrested yet. They've already failed a polygraph test, their stories have been declared false by their own family members and stories about their past have come into play. Is there enough circumstantial evidence to not arrest them on suspicion of murder?
